1. Controller

This app (Habituo – Habit Tracker) is operated privately.
Contact: klaus.workk@gmail.com

2. Local data (stays on your device)

Habituo is designed for maximum privacy. Your habit-tracking data stays exclusively on your device.

3. Account & Friends (optional)

Habituo works fully without an account. If you choose to sign in with "Sign in with Apple" to add friends and appear on leaderboards, we process data for this via our backend provider Supabase (server location EU/Frankfurt):

This data is visible to friends and/or on public leaderboards if you opt in ("Visibility" toggle in settings). You can delete your account, including all server-side data, at any time directly in the app (Profile → Delete Account). Your local on-device habit data is not affected by this.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

In the Shop, you can optionally watch short video ads to earn coins. We use Google AdMob for this. We only request non-personalized ads — there is no cross-app tracking. Google may still process technical data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and frequency capping (e.g. a device identifier, IP address, approximate location).

Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent prompt on first launch (Google User Messaging Platform). You can change your choice at any time under Settings → "Ad preferences". Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

5. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

When you purchase Habituo Pro or coin packs, we use RevenueCat to process purchases. RevenueCat processes:

Payment data (credit card, etc.) is processed exclusively by Apple (App Store). We never see your payment details.

6. No general tracking

Habituo contains no analytics or tracking SDK and builds no cross-app advertising profiles. We do not sell data to third parties. The only exception is the data processing technically required for ad delivery via Google AdMob (see section 4).

7. Photo access

The Body feature can optionally use photos from your photo library. Permission is only requested when you actively choose to add a photo. Photos are stored locally and never transmitted.

8. Data storage & deletion

Your habit-tracking data is stored in your device's local app storage. You can delete it at any time by:

You can delete server-side account data (see section 3) at any time via the app (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion is irreversible.

9. Children

Habituo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10. Reporting & blocking

Within the social features (friends, leaderboards), you can block other users or report them for inappropriate behavior. Blocked users can no longer see you and you can no longer see them. Reports are stored for review.
